6Black is one of three sites that all launched in 2017 under the umbrella of the Alpha Interactive. This company, based in Curacao and Malta, seems to come with a certain amount of baggage, according to some of the folks in the gaming industry. There are certainly rumors that Alpha Interactive has ties to the old Game Tech N.V. organization, which have been blacklisted many places due to unscrupulous business practices.
While we have seen some of the stories written about this group, at this point, there aren’t any hard facts linking the two, so we will continue to review the site independently until we find any other information that may affect our outlook.
Alpha Interactive has all of their casinos licensed in Curacao. This license is the bare minimum that casinos need to have to attract software vendors and payment processors; the country doesn’t do a lot to place their licensees as long as they pay their annual fee.

Despite having a gaming-friendly licensing jurisdiction, 6Black is not available for play in the United States. This is somewhat surprising given the opportunity in that country. A huge tick in the positive column for 6Black when it comes to their software supplier; the company uses no less than 8 different partners to bring you the casino offering. This casino is slots-heavy, so having so many different vendors gives the players significantly more choice when it comes to graphics and gameplay. The Good Stuff
Great for Slots players
As I mentioned, this is a slots-themed casino. They aren’t the first operator to focus on bringing in slots players, but they do a much better job than most because of the multiple software partners. Companies like Betsoft and NYX lead the way with their suite of slot machines; you will see the quality when we look a little more in-depth at the titles.
Betting for Pennies
This is a feature that I really like, especially in a casino trying to attract slots players mainly. For many players, even a $1 minimum can be too much for a Table Game; 6Black alleviates that pressure with a series of Micro games featuring bets as small as 1 cent. Considering there is no additional overhead necessary to spread these games, I am surprised more casinos do not follow suit with this type of offering.
The Bad Stuff
Mirror Site Lacks Creativity
As I started to review the site, I went back to one of the other sister sites, Casino Napoli, to see how similar they were. Sadly, I found the majority of the pages to be exact copies of one another. This shows a little bit of laziness from the Alpha Interactive group. However, the promotions and the game selection are slightly different, so that is a good thing. Here’s hoping they continue to separate the content between each of their brands.
Email for Promotions?
On their promotions page, 6Black suggests that they have a series of promotions dedicated to their mobile players. However, to find out what those offers entail, you have to contact customer service. This seems like a very inefficient method on both sides. I would much rather have them send me an SMS or email with the mobile promos rather than have me search them out.
Game Selection
Although the 6Black Casino is powered by multiple software partners, the majority of the content is found in the slots section of their lobby. The casino does offer a full suite of games, so let’s dive into each category, and you can see for yourself.
Table Games
This is the one head scratcher for me when it comes to the casino offering. I understand that the site is more focused on bringing in slots players, but that shouldn’t stop them from having a full suite of Table Games available as well. When I review a site, I like to play two or three different Table Games to get a feel for the speed of play; I was surprised not to find games like Craps and Pai Gow Poker. To me, these are staples of any casino floor or lobby, so I was left a little disappointed. Thankfully, the games they do offer have excellent graphics, and the game play is very smooth.

Live Dealer Casino
The newest craze in online casinos is having a dealer on the other end of a webcam dealing the game live. While these are nice numbers for the first three deposits, the company references getting a bonus for every deposit but doesn’t break down what those ongoing bonuses entail. I hope that is an oversight, as I like to have all the details in front of me when it comes time to add more funds to my account.
Banking
Banking options are becoming more expensive for casino operators each year, as fewer and fewer take the risky action, especially from new casinos. That is why I am pleasantly surprised to see as many choices as I do in the lobby of 6Black. Now, not every option listed below will be available in your country, but the casino does a great job of only presenting available payment methods when it detects what country you are in.

So, there is some sort of Comp Program available at 6Black, but finding the details of it have proven to be very tricky, to say the least. This much we know: when you play real money games, you earn comp points. These points can be converted to real cash (as outlined in the VIP program overview). However, that is where the information stops. I would love to know what the conversion rate or accumulation rate is, so I have asked their customer service team to give me those details. I will add them to the review once they are in my hands.
VIP Program
If you click on the VIP tab of 6Black’s website, you are taken to a page that is short on details about their VIP program. Aside from the fact that it seems to be subjective as far as invitation goes, there isn’t much in the way of rewards you can receive for becoming a VIP. The text on this screen is a copy of that of Casino Napoli:
To me, this falls far short of what I expect in an online casino. If they are trying to attract loyal, VIP players, especially those who are slots players, they need to be far more transparent with the details of this program. Personally, I wouldn’t be motivated to play as much as I might if I didn’t know what perks were waiting for me at the end of the road.
Customer Service
Customer Service is an expensive piece of any casino’s operations; you need to have bodies in seats available to tackle all player issues. In a perfect world, these agents are available 24 hours a day via multiple methods.
6Black takes care of its players with three forms of communication. They offer a Live Chat feature which can be found on every page of their website. The window is very responsive, and the agents are online within a minute or so (at least that was the case when I checked). They have a phone number you can call if you like but as there is no toll-free option, it may end up being quite pricey. Finally, they do have a support email, but I would expect response times for email queries to be at least a few hours based on my experiences.
Would I Play at 6Black Casino?
There is a lot to like about this new entrant in the online casino market. They have an excellent assortment of software suppliers, resulting in hundreds of game options for players. This includes the Live Dealer games which are quickly becoming the most popular to play online. There are many payment options available, and I haven’t come across any complaints from players about not being paid, so that’s an excellent sign.
The casino has only been around for a few months, however, and that obviously adds a layer of concern to the decision of whether or not to play here. While we do some more digging to see if there is any truth to the rumors of the casino’s ownership group, my suggestion is that you can definitely give these guys a try. If you do decide to make a deposit and play, my personal recommendation is that you only keep a minimal balance in your account and that you withdraw any winnings right away; this will protect you if for some reason the site goes the wrong way.

Hi, I would avoid this Company, they do all they can to ensure you cannot claim your winnings. I won and tried to withdraw £1500 off my third deposit and they found some T&C's to not pay out. I would Blacklist them.
